2016 Pizza Bake Off

15 Pizza Vendors + 55” HD TV = Kiwanis Pizza Bake Off 2016

Yes, it’s a Leap Year, so why not leap into Lakewood High School on January 21 and enjoy all you can eat pizza at the fourth annual Pizza Bake Off? Besides a full tummy, this year, you could also go home with a 55” Samsung HD Smart TV!

Fifteen of Lakewood’s finest pizzerias will set up shop and offer slices of their products. Customers may return for as many samples as they can eat from as many stands as they wish. Coffee and a soft drink are included with your ticket.  

Kiwanis will also raffle off a 55” HD TV!  Raffle tickets are on sale now for $5, or a special sale price of 5 tickets for $20. The winner of the TV will be drawn at the Bake Off.

Due to extensive construction, the Pizza Bake Off will take place in the west wing of Lakewood High School from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets, available from LHS Key Club members, Kiwanis members, or at the door, are priced at $10 for adults, $5 for children age 6 to 12, and ages 5 and under are free. As always, all proceeds will stay in the city to support Lakewood Kiwanis programs for families and children in Lakewood. This year, the proceeds are designated to support development of an art and music therapy program partnership between Lakewood Recreation Department and the Beck Center for the Arts for children ages 6 to 13 with special needs.

Customers will be invited to vote for their favorites in five categories: People’s Choice Pizza (overall best), Best Pepperoni Pizza, and Best Specialty Pizza, Best Franchise Pizza and Best Franchise Pepperoni.
