Hillary Campaign Office Opening With The Honorable Tom Perez

Thursday, August 11th will be remembered for the summer storm that rolled into Lakewood and the energizing visit from Secretary Tom Perez. The Honorable Perez toured Clinton offices as a friend of the campaign. Over 200 supporters, including many children, braved the heavy downpour to have an opportunity to tour the office, meet the field organizers and renew campaign friendships with volunteers from the Primary election.

The General Election office is located at 14600 Detroit Ave. and is open seven days a week from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. A friendly Field Organizer will be happy to discuss with you all the volunteer opportunities which include: donating water and food, data entry, phone banking, canvassing for voter registration and volunteers. A new campaign group of young moms with tots will work on campaign activities with their children.

Opening remarks were given by Mayor Summer, Ohio Senator Michael Skindell, State Representative Nickie Antonio, and former City Councilwoman Monique Smith who spoke about her passion for volunteering. Field organizers and campaign fellows shared their interest in the campaign. City Council members, Cindy Marx and Dan O’Malley were also in attendance.

To volunteer: visit the office and speak with a Field Organizer or e-mail Marika Lee mlee@ohvictory2016.org.
