Cornucopia’s “Event In The Tent”

Cornucopia will hold its fourth annual “Event in the Tent” celebration on Friday, September 16 from 6:30–10 p.m. at Cornucopia’s Vocational Training Center and Catering Kitchen, 18228 Sloane Avenue in Lakewood. “We will be celebrating the achievements of Cornucopia’s vocational training graduates and job placement clients,” said Nancy Peppler, Cornucopia’s Executive Director. “We are looking forward to an evening of great food and fun all in support of Cornucopia’s vocational programs for people with disabilities.”

The evening will feature delicious traditional, vegetarian and vegan dinner and dessert selections from Nature’s Bin Catering. Guests will also enjoy a silent auction and raffle.Complimentary valet parking will be available.

Cornucopia is a nonprofit that provides community-based employment training and job placement for people with disabilities. Cornucopia operates a natural foods market known as Nature’s Bin and a catering kitchen in Lakewood, Ohio that serve as vocational training sites and  as a means to generate revenue for its mission. Cornucopia serves people with a wide range of disabilities including developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, visual, speech and hearing impairments, and injuries resulting from accident or illness.
