  • Lakewood resident and Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA) professor Dan Cuffaro launched a Kickstarter project for a self-designed compact wood-burning camping stove as a tool to teach entrepreneurship to his students.

  • The nCamp Stove, now a Kickstarter project, was designed by Lakewood resident Dan Cuffaro to teach his students design and entrepreneurship skills. "Recently I talked with students about the value of prototyping: building concepts for the sake of testing, visualizing and getting feedback. I used one of their projects — focused on creating a new product for an outdoor goods brand — as a prototyping example. I researched, identified a problem based on personal experience, observation and inquiry, then I started to sketch and build."
