Lincoln MINEs returns to Lakewood on Saturday, November 12, 2016. Lincoln MINES takes popular video games and transforms them into hands-on learning experiences. Attendees will experience 5 hours of activities for one admission price. Last year this event entertained over 600 attendees with Hands-on Gaming, Minecraft Kids Talks, Crafts, Science and so much more.

Lincoln MINES provides several areas for learning about Minecraft and gaming.  Kids Talks create a forum for novices to experts to talk Minecraft. Combat, Transportation and Mods are a few of the Kids Talks topics for kids led by kids.  Minecraft Play sessions create four unique hands-on play experiences for the Minecraft PC Edition. Each gaming session focuses on essential skills for successful game play.

The fun expands beyond the Minecraft theme. Hands-on experience continues with science stations, make and take crafts, LEGO building and learn to code sessions. Games Done Legit Gaming Rooms provide access to current and throwback video games. The Dance Party gives you a space to get your groove on. You can shake rattle and roll your way to a good time.

The event is presented by the Lincoln Elementary PTA. Funds raised directly support PTA programs like teacher grants, extracurricular clubs, technology upgrades, field trips, assemblies and more.
