The Lakewood Athletic Boosters are holding a Car Raffle – a 2017 Buick Encore from Steve Barry Buick Lakewood or $10,000 cash option. Only 2000 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be held at the Winter Sports Awards Ceremony on March 14 at 6:00 pm in the Civic Auditorium. The Athletic Boosters have a long history of supporting Lakewood High School and Middle School athletes. Every year the Boosters donate over $65,000 to help support the student athletes. Studies have shown that children participating in extra- curricular activities- whether it’s sports, music or other student activities are more successful academically. This has been seen at Lakewood Schools with the large number of students who have been recognized as scholar athletes every season.
