MTA: Peanut Butter Dogs Author Greg Murray, Dog Adoption And Pet Food Drive Event At LPL

One of life’s greatest questions has always been, "Why do dogs love peanut butter?" Studies have shown we don’t know the answer, but with Greg Murray’s Peanut Butter Dogs we can just enjoy that they do. Join the local author who is becoming a worldwide sensation on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 7 p.m. in the Main Library First Floor Multipurpose Room of Lakewood Public Library. Books will be available for sale and signing at the event.

In a collection of 140 photographs, the award-winning Lakewood photographer and rescue dog advocate has managed to capture a number of his furry friends, from Yorkies to Great Danes, trying to navigate the complexities and joys of eating a spoonful of peanut butter.

The result is a book that has a wonderful way of making people feel good. So good, in fact, that it has been featured in The Huffington Post, Daily Mail UK, Mirror UK, Fox News Network, Cleveland NBC, CBS & Fox, Cleveland Magazine, Cleveland.com, Buzzfeed, USA Today and media outlets throughout the world.

This Meet The Author program, which is also an adoption event and drop-off location for a pet food drive, is being presented by The Cleveland Animal Protective League and My Best Friend’s Bowl Pet Food Bank. The Cleveland APL will have opportunities for adopting a new friend who could use a good home. My Best Friend’s Bowl Pet Food Bank is a Lakewood based, nonprofit organization that will be accepting dog (and cat) food for local animals suffering from hunger. Please consider pitching in to help some of our area’s neediest dogs (and cats too!).
