The Lakewood Division of Aging is Throwing the Party of the Summer: The Annual Senior Picnic

The sun is shining, the weather is warm, the lake breezes are fresh. That means that it is party-time for the Lakewood Division of Aging. On Friday, July 21st at 10 a.m. we will rendezvous at the lovely Kiwanis Pavilion at Lakewood Park. In addition to a scrumptious box lunch, we will be gathering for games, fellowship with friends, and some great summertime music, provided by a DJ compliments of Troy Entertainment. While there, you will have plenty of time to stretch your legs on the paved walking paths. Walk along the lake shoreline path to see a beautiful view of the fabulous Cleveland skyline. Make your way over to see one of Lakewood’s newest attractions: the Solstice Seps. You will be impressed. You can bask in the sun, or simply enjoy a cool drink while relaxing in the shade. Whatever your preferences, you will find it at the Senior Picnic.

Please call the Division of Aging Activities Office at 216-529-5005 with questions or to make your reservation. The suggested donation for this fun day in the park is $4. Transportation is available for Lakewood seniors who have need of it. Don’t be a party pooper; we look forward to seeing you at the park.
