Estate Planning For Seniors

Whether you have a lot, or a little, it is never too late to make sure your personal and financial affairs are in order. Take the time to learn about which decisions need to be made to properly address your own unique life circumstances.

The Lakewood Division of Aging and Attorney Linda Beebe will be offering “Estate Planning for Seniors”, an informative presentation to help you think through the various issues related to long-term financial planning. Learn the important differences between Powers of Attorney, guardianships and conservatorships. The long-term-care portion of the conversation will deal with long term care insurance, Medicare / Medicaid, self-pay, spend down, spousal allowances, irrevocable and QIT trusts. Attorney Beebe will also look at wills, trusts, probate, survivorship and letters of instruction.

This talk will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2108, at the Lawther Center, 16024 Madison Ave. at 10:45 a.m. We serve lunch at 11:45 a.m. If you are sixty years of age or older, why not plan on joining us?
