We've Got Our Veterans' Backs

It is no surprise that many military veterans face a variety of health issues resulting from physical, emotional and/or psychological concerns. Veterans Day provides the perfect opportunity to show those veterans the appreciation and gratitude they deserve. That’s why Lakewood’s Gold-In-Touch Massage is offering half off full body relaxation massages to veterans throughout the month of December.

“There are approximately 70,000 veterans living in Cuyahoga County and research in both massage and military publications indicates massage therapy results in significant reduction in both emotional and physical pain for veterans,” says Anthony Lima, LMT. “Massage is extremely beneficial in reducing tension and irritability, as well as physical aches and pains.”

Among the many benefits of massage are the following:

  • increasing the flow of blood and lymph through the body which helps with cell-building and energy formation
  • softening hard muscle and tissue by increasing blood supply to affected areas, along with joint movement and stretching
  • stimulating the nervous system resulting in the release of endorphins, hormones and neurotransmitters
  • and relaxing the mind by creating the physiological feeling of well-being and comfort

During the month of December veterans can receive an hour-long massage for only $30 (regularly $60) in private, comfortable massage rooms at the Gold-In-Touch studios on the 5th floor of the INA Building at 14701 Detroit Ave. “This offers a truly caring way to show our appreciation to veterans during the holiday season and give them the thanks they deserve,” adds Lima of Gold-In-Touch.

Massage times and dates must be booked in advance and are based on availability. To schedule please call (216) 704-0794 or email GITmassage@hotmail.com today.

This special massage offer for veterans is being made possible by the support of Kowit & Company Real Estate Group. The company owns and/or operates many commercial properties throughout Greater Cleveland and the nation, including Lakewood’s INA and Bailey buildings, as well as the new Center North luxury apartments in the former Lakewood Center North building.
