Diversity Celebrated At Lakewood Dinner

Join your local and international neighbors for food, fun and conversation at the 12th Annual Community Diversity Potluck Thursday, January 24, 2019.

Sponsored by the Lakewood Community Relations Advisory Council, the potluck dinner and program will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., January 24, at the Lakewood Park Woman’s Club Pavilion. The dinner celebrates the diversity in our community in keeping with the city’s mission to “provide lifelong educational opportunities for our residents and promote a community identity rooted in our cultural heritage.”

Residents are asked to please bring a dish (vegetarian or meat) which represents your family, cultural or ethnic background for about six people!! We encourage you to bring the recipe for your dish to share as well. Beverages and tableware will be provided. This is a great opportunity to meet neighbors and make new friends. There will be fun activities for all ages.
