Colin Teets Update 11/2/08
What a nice fall day. The temperature was cool. The sun was shining. The leaves were beautiful shades of red, yellow and orange. And, Colin made it outside to enjoy it; thanks to his hockey team who came to visit this afternoon. They brought him his team jacket and news of a victorious weekend. They played a little volleyball, a little basketball, rode scooters and talked in the sunshine. What a pleasant surprise.Aunt Eve and Uncle Jon brought Evan and Hope for a visit, too. They challenged Colin to Racko and Sorry Sliders. They also helped him eat Halloween candy – and I don’t think they put a dent in his stash!Colin zonked out by 4:00. I guess all the company wore him out. He woke up a little for a visit with Aunt Chris, Uncle Mike, Connor and Emma, but they didn’t stay long. He ordered a Big Mac (no onions) and a vanilla milk shake for dinner – of course I caved. We read a little Stormbreaker and watched a movie until both of us were tired. He’ll need his sleep for therapy tomorrow.Schedule week of 11/1: For those that have inquired about visiting Colin during the week, his open times are as follows: Mon. 12-1, 2-4, 4:30-8; Tues. 10-11, 12-2, 3-8; Wed. 12-1, 3-8; Thurs. 12-2, 3-8; Fri. 12-1, 2-8
