LEAF Presents Dehydration With Maggie's Farm

Join the Lakewood Earth & Food (LEAF) Community on Wednesday, May 28th at 7 p.m. in the basement kitchen of Trinity Lutheran Church (16400 Detroit Avenue) for a workshop on dehydration with Diane from Maggie's Farm. Diane will discuss reasons to dehydrate food, what to dehydrate, how to store dehydrated items, and how to have fun with dehydration, including making nutritious fruit rolls. The workshop will include a hands-on segment.

Maggie's Farm is located in the Stockyard neighborhood of Cleveland and features produce grown using no chemicals or pesticides but lots of love. The farm also has a farm stand where not only the produce grown on the farm is available, but also other local products like cheese, preserves, fresh baked goods and more. More information on Maggie's Farm is available at http://www.maggiesfarmcle.org/.
