Support LEAF's Mission To Increase Access To Local Food

With your support, LEAF (Lakewood Earth And Food) Community can continue to:

Provide food relief for people who need it. LEAF has donated hundreds of pounds of fresh, local produce to area hunger relief organizations through our community gardens and CSA programs. In addition, LEAF offers options for people on a limited income to afford a CSA share or farm market foods.

Provide access to fresh, local food in Lakewood. LEAF maintains over 150 plots in our community gardens for people to grow their own produce. At our seasonal, weekly farm market, you can pick up a CSA share or buy from our local vendors.

Educate people of all ages. Everyone can learn how to live a more healthy, environmentally responsible life through LEAF’s free education sessions.

Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution today to LEAF Community. LEAF is a 501(c)(3) and is 100% volunteer-run. A gift of any size can mean a world of difference in the health and well-being of our hometown.

LEAF Indoor Holiday Market

Our final market of the year is on Tuesday, Decmeber 15 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Garfield Middle School! We'll be distributing City Fresh produce shares, and we've invited some fabulous local farmers, producers, artisans and craftspeople to vend their wares. We'll have honey, eggs, baked goods, dry goods, gifts, soaps, jams, jellies and other hand made goodies! Returning gardeners will be able to renew their garden plot for 2016. We'll also have raffle baskets, LEAF merchandise for all of your gift giving needs, and a hot soup and drink bar. We hope to see you there!
