Vinyl Records Vs. Alternatives

People often now stream music from Ipods, phones or computers. Sure they get it free, but can it really compare with vinyl records? Vinyl has a nicer sound quality and frankly it's more fun to have a record on vinyl than to stream music.

With vinyl you have started a collection and you can talk about it and expand it, while anyone can stream music and get whatever song. With vinyl, people stop and think about what they are buying, they make their decision accordingly and have a better experience listening to their music.

There is a great record store called My Mind's Eye on Detroit Ave. that has great records on vinyl. Not only do they have a large selection but one that has music for everybody, especially older bands like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, which may not be the number one bands to people now but are great bands that have left a large impression on modern-day music.

Having a great store like My Mind's Eye in our community is a great opportunity to see how truly amazing music is. Listening to older music, as previously stated, opens up a better listening experience, especially when you listen to it on vinyl which was what it was originally recorded on. It makes the experience more authentic and fun.
