Barton Center to Host 11th Annual Fundraiser May 19

Barton Senior Center will hold its 11th annual spring fundraiser on Friday, May 19 from 5:00-8:00 PM.  This indoor/outdoor event will be held in Barton Center’s outdoor Courtyard and renovated indoor Rotunda, on the lower level of the Westerly Apartments.  This year’s event will have a fun new theme entitled “Caribbean Cocktail Party” and includes entertainment by Island Jeff and his steel drum, heavy hors d’oeuvres and tropical drinks, along with wine and beer.  A Silent Auction will include wine baskets, Indians Club seats, a Cavs autographed basketball and gift certificates to local restaurants, along with side boards.  All are encouraged to wear tropical/island attire, so dig out your flip flops and your Hawaiian shirt. 

Individual tickets are $40 ($25 tax deductible).  A $125 sponsorship ($95 tax deductible) includes two tickets and a listing in the program.  Mail your check to Barton Center at 14300 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, OH  44107.  Or phone 216-221-3400 for more information. 

Proceeds will be used to fund the many services and activities for seniors offered by the nonprofit Barton Center, including transportation throughout Lakewood.  Barton Senior Center is located on the Ground Floor of the Westerly Apartments and is open M-F 9am–3pm.
