Spring Fest 2017 Kicks Off Another Growing Season With LEAF

Celebrate the start of the growing season with LEAF (Lakewood Earth And Food) Community on the front porch of the Main Library the evening of Thursday, June 8th! The first market of the 2017 season will include activities for kids, live music from The Sonder Bombs, and of course local produce or homemade goods from our vendors.

After you do your shopping, make sure to stop by the kid's craft table to make a craft with seeds to take home and hang on the fridge. New for 2017, we will also be welcoming the Cleveland Metroparks for a family friendly nature show not only this week, but regularly throughout the rest of our season!

On Thursday, June 8th you will be able to shop with the following local vendors.

Community Greenhouse Partners: microgreens, arugula, radishes & more!

Willow Teas, Spices & More

Backattack Snacks: homemade beef jerky and other snacks

Grainman: grains, syrup, honey, and more local foods

Maria Leng-Handmade Gemstone Jewelery

Spoiled Dog Boss: grain-free dog treats

LEAF: cookbooks and tee shirts

EBT is and Produce Prescriptions are accepted at the LEAF Night Market. Plus, we are part of the Produce Perks program, so you can buy one market token (with SNAP) and get one free up to $10.

And don't forget, while we are a regular Fresh Stop pick-up location, the City Fresh season does not start until the following week on June 15. But you can still place your order in-person at Spring Fest!

The LEAF Community Farmer's Market takes place every Thursday evening on the Main Library front porch from 5:30-8 p.m. through October.
